Charlo Twins Hit Pay-Per-View Tonight

It remains to be seen if the first major pandemic pay-per-view raises their profile and stock.
This Saturday night, September 26, in a marquee doubleheader televised live on Showtime PPV from the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut, WBC middleweight champion Jermall Charlo (30-0, 22 KOs), from Houston, Texas, will defend his title against Sergiy Derevyanchenko (13-2, 10 KOs), from Brooklyn via Ukraine, while his twin brother, WBC super welterweight champion Jermell Charlo (33-1, 17 KOs), fights a unification against WBA/IBF champ Jeison Rosario (20-1-1, 14 KOs), from Miami by way of Santa Domingo, Dominican Republic.
The Charlos have been tabbed as next gen superstars. It remains to be seen how much the first major pandemic pay-per-view raises their profile and stock.
On the Charlo-Derevyanchenko undercard, WBA super bantamweight champion Brandon Figueroa (20-0-1, 15 KOs), from Weslaco, Texas, defends his title against southpaw Damien Vázquez (15-1-1, 8 KOs), from Las Vegas by way of Thornton, Colorado, and WBO bantamweight champion John Riel Casimero (29-4, 20 KOs) faces unbeaten Duke Micah (24-0, 19 KOs), from Accra, Ghana, in the pay-per-view opener.
On the Charlo-Figueroa undercard, former unified world champion Daniel Roman (27-3-1, 10 KOs), from Los Angeles, gets it on with battling former champ Juan Carlos Payano (21-3, 9 KOs), originally from Dominican Republic, in a WBC super bantamweight title eliminator. Also on the card, former world titlist Luis Nery (30-0, 25 KOs), from Tijuana, Mexico, takes on the unbeaten Aaron Alameda (25-0, 13 KOs), from Long Beach, California, by way of Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, for the vacant WBC super bantamweight title.
